Bladder Surge Relief Tank
Please check with TVD engineer

The bladder surge relief tank is a water hammer control device equipped with an innen bladder

The preset pressure of the compressed air can push the water inside the bladder to the system when the pump is stopped, and the preset pressure needs to be calculated by the system water hammer calculation and the pressure tank calculation

The bladder can permanently isolate the water and air, compared with the pressure tank without bladder, which saves the necessary electric energy and air compressor, pressure sensor and many other complex equipment

The damage to the pipeline system caused by water hammer is very serious, and the transient pressure rise will lead to cracks in the pipeline and even fracture. A large drop in transient pressure can lead to cavitation and, in sufficiently severe cases, extrusion deformation of the pipe

Configuration

  • Vertical and horizontal installation available
  • Usually inside of the tank is sprayed with epoxy resin paint, which is corrosion resistant
  • The outside of the tank can be sprayed with special paint according to customer requirements
  • In order to check the usage of the bladder, bladder leakage sensor can be installed
  • In order to slow down the impact of transient pressure on the bladder, devices such as bending pipe and pressure disperser can be installed

other features

  • Painting

    • Internal wall: Epoxy paint without solvents, thickness 100 μm
    • External wall: Epoxy paint and anti corrosion polyurethane finishing, thickness 150 μm
  • Quality assurance

  • Liner

    • Replaceable
    • Butyl(imported raw materials)
    • Polyurethane PU (imported from Europe)
